(A) (1) When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall operate any vehicle with a gross weight in excess of eight tons on the following streets:

(2) No person shall operate a vehicle with steel lugs, nor any tracked vehicle, upon any street within the city.
(B) Anyone violating any of the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding $100.
