§ 5-1-8 STOPPING OR PARKING, PARKING IN ALLEY REGULATIONS, AND LAWFUL PARKING DISTANCE FROM ROADWAY.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to stop or park a vehicle on the street, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with the other traffic, or in compliance with the directions of a peace officer or traffic-control device, in the City of Beacon.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful to stop or park a vehicle onto or upon privately owned property without the consent of the owner, lessee or person in charge of such privately owned property. All parking spaces shall provide a clearance of at least 24 inches from the edge of the roadway's pavement to the vehicle. Off-street parking spaces shall be designed to provide visibility of and between pedestrians and vehicles when circulating within or leaving a residence; and shall not create blind, hidden, or hazardous areas.
