15.12.020: COINCIDENT PERMIT APPLICATIONS REQUIRED:
   A.   In cases of new construction, certificates for occupancy and compliance shall be applied for coincident with the application for a building permit.
   B.   In all cases of change of land use or occupancy, where municipal water service has been discontinued over thirty (30) consecutive days to existing building or structures, application shall be made at the time request is made to the village to reestablish the water service to the property or change the billing therefor. In the event the subject residence has a water service from a supply in common with other residences, then such application shall be made prior to occupancy.
   C.   Certificates for occupancy and compliance shall be issued, when proper, within ten (10) days after application and completion, if applicable, of the building or structure.
   D.   No building or structure or premises may be occupied until such certificate shall have been issued, and no municipal water services shall be reestablished to the property unless a certificate is issued by the building inspector for the subject building, structure or property as provided in this chapter.
