A. Adoption Of Code: There is hereby adopted by the Village the 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (hereinafter the Swimming Pool Code). At least one copy of the 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code has been on file in the Office of the Village Clerk for a period of at least 30 days prior to the adoption of these provisions and remains on file in the Office of the Village Clerk and is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
B. Reference to State Regulations. The State of Illinois has promulgated rules and regulations for public swimming pools, spas and beaches under Illinois Administrative Code Title 77 Chapter 1 Subchapter n Part 820. Additional references to this can be found under 210 ILCS 125\et seq. The adoption of the 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code does not supersede the State of Illinois rules and regulations/laws unless the Swimming Pool Code is more restrictive in requirements.
