A. It is unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or other entity to cause or permit the connection of the unmetered service line to any pipe attachment or other facility which will permit the drawing of water from the Village supply. A violation of this subsection shall be punishable by a fine as provided in the fee schedule of the Village, as amended, for each offense. Each day that a violation exists shall be considered a separate offense.
B. In addition to the penalties provided in subsection A of this section, any licensed plumber or other person, firm or corporation who makes a connection in violation of this section shall be barred from performing additional plumbing work within the Village.
C. Except as specifically modified by this section, all the other provisions of this chapter shall apply to the installation and use of the water service connection and line. (Ord. 2018-O-27: Ord. 2015-O-4)
