It is unlawful to plant any tree or shrub bush in any public street or parkway or other public place without having first secured a permit therefor. Applications for such permits shall be made to the village clerk, and shall be referred by her/him to the village board. All trees and shrubs so planted shall be placed subject to the directions and approval of the public works committee. (Ord. 2000-O-22 § 1)
