A. Following the village board of trustees' approval of the vacation, the village clerk shall determine, from the recorder of deeds, the cost required to record all documents and shall notify the petitioner and/or his attorney.
B. Upon receipt of the required fees, the hearing officer shall submit the deed of vacation for signature of the village president, attested by the village clerk.
C. Following execution of the deed of vacation, the village clerk shall cause the signed deed of vacation, the originals of the petition, plat of vacation and tax statement to be recorded with the recorder of deeds. (Ord. 2007-O-83 § 5)
