A. Any owner of affected or adjoining land may petition the village for vacation of a plat, road or alley or any part thereof.
B. A petition shall be filed by the applicant of the proposed vacation with the village clerk together with a nonrefundable filing fee as provided in the fee schedule of the village, as amended.
C. The clerk shall forward the petition to the superintendent of public works, engineer and the building and zoning administrator, who shall promptly review the petition to ensure that it meets all the requirements of this chapter. If the petition is incomplete, the petitioner shall be informed as to what additional information or documentation is required. (Ord. 2014-O-36: Ord. 2007-O-83 § 1: Ord. 2000-O-22 § 1)
