A. For every dog, cat, or other animal as prescribed by the Lake County ordinance taken up and impounded as provided by this chapter, there shall be paid to the health department by any owner of such dog, cat, or other animal the fees set by the board of health. In addition, the owner of a dog or cat four (4) months of age or older not currently inoculated against rabies and registered as provided elsewhere in this chapter must have the dog or cat inoculated against rabies and registered at the time of release from impoundment.
B. The fees in the preceding subsection shall be in addition to any other penalties involved under this chapter. (Ord. 2007-O-84 § 2)
