Upon receipt of an application for an available license under this chapter, the village clerk or her designee shall cause a copy thereof to be sent to the village's law enforcement agency and the zoning administrator whom shall report back to the village clerk within thirty (30) days whether the applicant is in accordance with applicable village codes. The investigation by the law enforcement agency shall include, but not be limited to, conducting a criminal history background investigation on the applicant, its partners, members, officers or listed shareholders owning more than five percent (5%) of the outstanding shares of stock or more than five percent (5%) in interest of the business enterprise.
