5.16.150: CLOSING HOURS:
   A.   1.   Persons holding class A or D licenses may sell, permit to be sold, give away or allow to be consumed, alcoholic beverages on Sunday through Saturday of a particular week between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and two o'clock (2:00) A.M. the following morning, and on December 31, between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and three o'clock (3:00) A.M. the following morning. On the Saturday immediately preceding the last Sunday in April of each year, and on the Saturday immediately preceding the last Sunday in October of each year, persons holding class A or D licenses shall limit their hours of operation to twenty (20) consecutive hours following the seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. opening time, in conformance with the time standardization act 1 commonly known as daylight saving time. Persons holding class C licenses shall not sell, permit to be sold or give away any alcoholic beverages between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. on any day and must illuminate the licensed premises by means of an electric light of at least sixty (60) watts' power located at the rear of the premises and visible from the street.
      2.   Persons holding a class F license shall not be permitted to sell or permit to be sold at retail, or give away the alcoholic beverages permitted by such license to be sold, between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. on any day and must illuminate the licensed premises by means of an electric light of at least sixty (60) watts' power located at the rear of the premises and visible from the street.
      3.   Persons holding class G and J licenses may sell, permit to be sold, give away, or allow to be consumed alcoholic beverages on Sunday through Saturday of a particular week between the hours of six o’clock (6:00) A.M. and one o’clock (1:00) A.M. of the following morning and only at such time as the dining room is open and food is available, provided however, alcoholic beverages may be dispensed on the licensed premises for no longer than one hour after the dining room is closed, and no later than one o’clock (1:00) A.M. of the following morning. On the Saturday immediately preceding the last Sunday in April of each year, and on the last Sunday in October of each year, persons holding class G and J licenses shall limit the period of time alcoholic beverages may be dispensed to consecutive hours following the six o’clock (6:00) A.M. opening time in conformance with the time standardization act, commonly known as daylight saving time.
      4.   Persons holding class H licenses shall require the portion of the licensed premises designated for retail package liquor sales, with no on site consumption, to conform to the business hour restrictions set forth above for class C licenses, and shall further require the portion of the licensed premises designated for on site consumption to conform to the business hour restrictions set forth above for class A licenses.
      5.   Persons holding class I licenses shall comply with the business hour restrictions, but not the illumination requirements, for the sale of retail package liquors set forth above for class C licenses and shall comply with the business hour restrictions for on site consumption set forth above for class A licenses.
   B.   It shall be unlawful to keep open for business, or to admit persons to any premises licensed under these rules for the retail sale of alcoholic liquors during the hours within which the sale of alcoholic liquors is prohibited or to permit or allow persons to remain in or about the licensed premises either before or after the hours designated within which the sale and consumption of alcoholic liquor is prohibited on the licensed premises; provided, however, that restaurants, clubs, drugstores, retail grocery stores and hotels may keep their place of business open, subject only to the provisions that no sale at retail of alcoholic liquors or the consumption by persons of alcoholic liquors shall be permitted or allowed on said licensed premises during the hours prohibited.
