A. Effective after the April 2009 election, the village president shall be compensated on the basis of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00) per year, payable in equal monthly installments.
B. In addition to the compensation provided for attendance at regular and special village board meetings and committee of the whole meetings, the village president shall receive two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400.00) per year, payable in equal monthly installments, as and for compensation as village liquor commissioner.
