Businesses, and owners of business buildings and any non-residential buildings/structures and any multi family residential buildings with common areas, whether registered or not under this chapter, authorize village inspections, to occur at initial registration, upon annual renewal, and, if deemed necessary to ensure continued compliance, at reasonable times and during hours of business operation as the inspections pertain to fire, safety, life safety and property maintenance. The results of the inspection shall be forwarded to the Community Development Director for compliance. The inspection requirement shall be waived for home occupations consisting of office functions without visitors, physical stocks of materials, or deliveries.
