A. Any person, firm or corporation who is found to have violated this chapter shall be fined in an amount not to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) per offense plus the cost of prosecution incurred by the village including reasonable attorney fees. Each day that a violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.
B. Whenever a person, firm or corporation neglects or refuses to procure any registration certificate required by this chapter, or otherwise violates the terms of this chapter, the village president is authorized to cause appropriate legal or equitable action and proceedings to be instituted to enforce the registration certificate requirements of this chapter.
C. The village president shall take all necessary and appropriate action to compel compliance with the regulatory provisions of this chapter. When necessary and expedient, he may call upon the appropriate law enforcement official to assist in such enforcement. (Ord. 2007-O-34 § 2)
