9-2-1: CODE ADOPTED:
   A.   Adoption: An ordinance adopting by reference the current Minnesota state fire code and its amendments, to provide for its administration and enforcement, to provide for the issuance of permits and collection of fees and repealing all other ordinances and parts of ordinances of the city of Baxter in conflict herewith.
The Minnesota state fire code, including appendix chapters B, C, D, and H, one copy of which has been marked as the official copy and which is on file in the office of the city clerk is hereby adopted as the fire code for the city of Baxter, Minnesota, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from the fire or explosion, except such portions as are modified or amended by this chapter and made a part of this chapter as if fully set forth herein.

   B.   Amendments: The following amendments to the Minnesota state fire code are hereby adopted as fully as if set out at length herein:
Section 105.6 of the Minnesota state fire code is amended by adding the following: "but not limited to those listed."
Section 105.7 of the Minnesota state fire code is amended by adding the following: "but not limited to those listed."
Section 307.4.2 of the Minnesota state fire code shall be amended to read:
"All open burning within this jurisdiction is allowed only in conformance with title 4, chapter 3 of the city code, Open Burning."
