6-1-1: STATE TRAFFIC REGULATIONS ADOPTED:
   A.   Adopted: The regulatory provisions of Minnesota statutes, 1971, chapter 169, as amended, commonly known as the highway traffic regulations act is hereby adopted as a traffic ordinance regulating the use of highways, streets and alleys within the city and is hereby incorporated herein and made a part of this chapter as completely as if set out herein in full.
   B.   Penalty: Any violation of this statute adopted by reference is a violation of this chapter when it occurs within the limits of the city. Any person violating any provision thereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 21.1, 2-15-1972; amd. 2002 Code)
