Due to recent state law changes, some fireworks may now be legally sold. Since fireworks are inherently dangerous and cannot be legally sold to minors, the city believes that it is in the best interest of its citizens and the general public that the city adopt an ordinance providing for the regulation of the sale of fireworks.
