§ 51.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   GARBAGE. The refuse animal, fruit, and vegetable matter from the kitchens, pantries, and dining rooms of hotels, restaurants, boarding houses, and dwellings, the animal refuse from slaughter houses, butcher shops, and stores, and the refuse fruit and vegetable matter from stores and fruit houses.
   RECYCLABLES. Paper, plastic, metal, aluminum, motor oil, glass, and other materials which are actually being kept for delivery to a recycling center.
   REFUSE. Garbage and rubbish, plus all other wastes which are not legally dischargeable into the city sanitary sewer. It does not include recyclables kept for recycling.
   RUBBISH. Paper, boxes, cartons, house sweepings, tin cans, bottles, junk, machinery, metals, tires, inner tubes, and other articles of debris that create an unsightly appearance.
