(A) Upon finding any violation of any provision of this code relating to municipal utility services or private sewage disposal facilities, or upon finding that the water service at the premises served needs repair or that the sewer system at the premises served needs repair or cleaning, the Public Works Coordinator shall notify the Clerk/Treasurer. The Clerk/Treasurer shall serve notice upon the occupant, lessee, or other person in charge of the premises, and upon the owner if the owner does not occupy the premises, specifying the nature of each violation and the work which is required to be done. The notice shall also specify the reasonable time, considering the nature and amount of work to be done and the nature of the violations or problems, within which each violation or problem of all of them must be remedied.
(B) The provision of this section shall not limit the power of any other officer or agency, to act pursuant to authority given in this code or by law.
