(A) All construction shall be subject to the supervision of the Public Works Coordinator. No part of the work done shall be covered by backfill until it has been inspected and approved by the Coordinator. The person doing the work shall notify the Coordinator when the work is ready for inspection. If the Coordinator determines that any part of the work is not done in accordance with applicable requirements, the person doing the work shall correct the defects and have the work reinspected. Upon request, the Coordinator shall give written notice describing the defects. No system shall be placed or replaced in service until all defects have been corrected.
(B) All connection with any water main, all tapping of mains, and the installation, opening, and closing of stopcocks shall be made by authorized city employees or done under the supervision of the Coordinator.
(C) All connections with the sanitary sewer system shall be made by authorized city employees or done under the supervision of the Coordinator.
(D) All pipes laid in the streets, in the alleys, or on public property shall be laid by authorized city employees or under the supervision of the Coordinator.
