§ 50.024 METERED CHARGE WHEN PART OF WATER DOES NOT ENTER SEWER.
In the event that sewer charges are based upon the amount of water used, and if a portion of the water received at the premises of any customer does not and cannot enter the sanitary sewer system, the customer may install and maintain at the customer’s expense a meter approved by the Public Works Coordinator which accurately measures the amount of water which does not and cannot enter the sanitary sewer system or which enters the sanitary sewer system. In that case, the charges for sanitary sewer service shall be based on the amount of water which enters the sanitary sewer system, subject to such additional charges as the City Council may by ordinance establish for reading the additional meter and for special computation of the customer’s bill.
