§ 32.027 MEMBERS; BADGE AND UNIFORM.
   (A)   The number of additional members of the Police Department, together with their rank and title, shall be determined by the City Council. Members shall be appointed by the City Council, receive such compensation as the City Council may fix, and serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
   (B)   Each member of the Police Department shall, while on duty, wear a suitable badge and uniform, except that the Chief may authorize the performance of specific duties while not in uniform.
