§ 51.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   When a resident is in violation of § 51.01, the property owner may be fined up to a maximum amount of $50, or another amount as set by the Town Council from time to time, per day for each day the offense continues. Fines shall be payable to the Town Ordinance Violations Bureau.
      (2)   If the offense continues for more than five days with unsatisfactory action on the part of the resident/property owner, the town may order that the trash be picked up and disposed of by town employees. The town will charge the property owner $100, or another amount as set by the Town Council from time to time, or the cost of the action, whichever is greater. If the fee is not paid within 60 days of the action, the town will either place a lien on the property or seek to add this debt to the property tax bill associated with the property.
   (C)   When a resident is in violation of § 51.02, the property owner may be fined up to a maximum amount of $20, or another amount as set by the Town Council from time to time, per day for each day the offense continues. Fines shall be payable to the Town Ordinance Violations Bureau. If the fee is not paid within 60 days of the action, the town will either place a lien on the property or seek to add this debt to the property tax bill associated with the property.
   (D)   A violation of § 51.03 shall result in a penalty of not more than $500, or another amount as set by the Town Council from time to time, for the first violation and not more than $1,000, or another amount as set by the Town Council from time to time, for any subsequent violations.
