The provisions of the 2005 edition of the national electrical code published by the National Fire Protection Association, not less than three (3) copies of which have been and now are on file in the office of the city clerk of the city of Batavia, Illinois, are hereby adopted as the regulations governing electric installations, maintenance, and control in all property, buildings, and structures in the city of Batavia, Kane County, Illinois.
