The provisions of the international building code/2006, compiled by the International Code Council not less than three (3) copies of which have been and are now filed in the office of the city clerk, are hereby adopted together with the special modifications thereto listed below, as the regulations governing the construction of buildings except for one- and two-family residences which are governed by the residential building code of the city.
