§ 114.02  VEHICLE LICENSE REQUIRED; INTERCHANGEABILITY OF LICENSE.
   (A)   No person or any agent, employee or driver shall operate or permit to be operated a vehicle as a public vehicle, or proffer the service of such vehicle by solicitation by voice, sign, public advertisement or otherwise, unless the proper license has been issued to the owner thereof and is in force.
   (B)   Nothing herein shall be construed to the effect that a duly issued taxicab license shall not be used on another vehicle, provided however that such other vehicle is a suitable and proper conveyance for the transportation of passengers and has been approved as provided in this chapter.
