§ 150.03  NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
   (A)   Purpose.  The purpose of this section is to provide basic and uniform regulations concerning electrical installations and making performance tests of acceptability.
   (B)   Adoption and changes; fee schedule.
      (1)   The National Electrical Code, latest edition, as may be amended from time to time, hereby adopted as the Electrical Code of the village.
      (2)   Wherever the phrase “Commissioner of Buildings” appears in such Code, it is hereby deleted and the term “Village Building Inspector” is inserted in lieu thereof.
      (3)   Every electrical installation in the village shall be subject to the inspection and approval by the County Electrical Inspection Department, herein designated as the inspection authority. Applications for inspections shall be made and the prescribed electrical inspection fees shall be paid to the inspection authority. Upon satisfactory completion of the electrical installation, the inspection authority will furnish the applicant with a certificate of approval.
      (4)   The fee schedule for the inspection authority shall be adopted.
