(A) It is the policy of Bartholomew County, Indiana (the County) to invest public funds in a manner that will preserve its capital, meet its daily liquidity needs, diversify its investments, conform to all state statutes governing the investment of public funds, and generate market rates of return.
(B) This investment policy (the Policy) addresses the methods, procedures and practices which must be exercised to ensure effective and judicious fiscal and investment management of the county’s funds. It replaces any previous investment policy or investment procedures of the county.
