The county is authorized to purchase a blanket bond to cover the faithful performance of all employees of the county, all of the County Commission members and all persons acting on behalf of the county who are not County Prosecuting Attorneys, Auditors, Treasurers, Recorders, Surveyors, Sheriffs, Coroners, Assessors, Clerks, Township Trustees, appointed board members, commission members or fiscal officers responsible for approving vouchers or payments or other employees directed to file an individual bond by the county fiscal body, in amounts and from an authorized surety company as determined by the County Commissioners.
