Major subdivisions require primary approval by the Commission and secondary approval by the official designated in § 156.213. Before filing a major subdivision, applicants are encouraged to present a sketch plan for the subdivision to the Department for informal discussion. Replats which require extension of streets or utilities shall be considered under the terms of this chapter.
