The boundary of the county is as follows: beginning at the northeast corner of Section 1, in Township 10 North, of Range 7 East; thence south to the southeast corner of Section 13, in Township 8 North, of Range 7 East; thence west to the southwest corner of Section 18, in Township 8 North, of Range 7 East; thence south following the range line to the intersection of the range line and the Sand Creek; thence following the creek to its junction with the East Fork of the White River; thence south following the river to a point 1,700 feet west of the southeast corner of Section 16, in Township 7 North, of Range 6 East; thence west to the southwest corner of Section 15, in Township 7 North, Range 4 East; thence north to the northwest corner of Section 3 in Township 10 North of Range 4 East; thence east to the place of beginning.
