Fees paid to file an application for the permit described herein and all charges relative to false alarms shall be paid directly to the County Sheriff. The County Sheriff, upon receipt of same, shall transmit the fees and charges each month to the County Auditor on Form 362 entitled "Report of Collections", as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts. All other fees shall he paid to the alarm agent. All fees paid direct to the County Auditor, shall be dedicated, cumulatively, for the perpetuation, improvement and upgrading of communications in the county. The office of the County Auditor shall maintain, in its records, a dedicated fund to be known as the "Burglar Alarm Systems Fund" on a cumulative basis and payments therefrom may be made without appropriation therefor. The Alarm Board shall be entitled to require expenditures from the dedicated fund as are necessary to implement and carry out the intent of this section. Section 35.018 of this code references the Burglar Alarm System Fund as No. 512 for accounting purposes.
