9-3-3: RESIDENTIAL FENCE REGULATION:
Any fence erected in a front yard or in front of the front facade of a residence, commercial building or industrial building shall be at least fifty percent (50%) open and may not exceed four feet (4') in height. For purposes of determining the height of a fence, a clearance of three inches (3") shall be allowed for installation purposes and shall not count in determining the height of the fence. In no event may a privacy fence be erected in front of the front facade of a residence, commercial building or industrial building. In the event that such a building is located on a through lot, that part of the lot which is used as a rear yard and would normally be considered a rear yard for the lot shall not be subject to the same requirements as the front facade. (A through lot shall be considered a contiguous piece of property which runs from street to street.) (Ord. 2008-14, 10-6-2008)
