7-2-4: REFUSE PILES:
   (A)   Unlawful Disposals: Except as otherwise permitted in this Section, it shall be unlawful for any person to deposit or dispose by burial anywhere in the Village any garbage, rubbish, refuse, offal or carcasses of dead animals. The burial of or any uncovered pile of garbage, rubbish, refuse, offal or carcasses of dead animals is hereby declared a nuisance, except as provided in this Section. (Ord. 91-23, 9-23-1991)
   (B)   Burning Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person to dispose of garbage, rubbish, refuse, construction debris, treated or painted wood, offal or the carcasses of dead animals by means of open burning or any other means of incineration. Nothing in this Section shall prohibit the open burning of landscape waste, firewood, or untreated or unpainted lumber or scrap wood which is produced or obtained for use on the premises where the materials are burned 1 .    (C)   Landscape Waste: Landscape waste is defined as all accumulations of grass or shrubbery cuttings, leaves, cuttings, and other materials accumulated as the result of lawns, shrubbery, vines and trees.
   (D)   Burial Permitted: Carcasses of dead animals may be disposed of by means of burial at least two feet (2') below the surface of the ground. (Ord. 91-23, 9-23-1991)
