Following the adoption of an official plan, or a part thereof, in the manner prescribed in section 11-12-7 of the Illinois municipal code, no map or plat of any subdivision or resubdivision affecting land within the corporate limits of the village, or any contiguous territory within one and one-half (11/2) miles of the village limits, and not included in any other municipality, shall be approved by the plan commission, unless such subdivision or resubdivision complies with all of the requirements of the subdivision regulations of the village.
