(A) The County Fiscal Court enacts this section, which shall be known and may be cited as the “Hiseville Cemetery Board Ordinance”.
(B) (1) There is hereby created the Hiseville Cemetery Board, which shall serve in the interest of overseeing the daily operations and preserving and maintaining the Hiseville Cemetery.
(2) The Hiseville Cemetery Board shall operate to achieve the objectives set out above.
(C) The Hiseville Cemetery Board shall meet at a minimum of four times annually in a space provided by the Fiscal Court.
(D) (1) The Hiseville Cemetery Board shall consist of seven members. One member will be the elected Magistrate for Magisterial District Four, the District in which the cemetery is located.
(2) The remaining six members will be volunteers who shall be appointed by the County Judge/Executive with the approval of the Fiscal Court. Said members shall have lived in Magisterial District Four for at least one-year prior to appointment. Each of the volunteer members will serve three-year terms. The Hiseville Cemetery Board’s terms will be staggered so that two members will come off the Board each year and two replacement appointments will be made each year. January 1 of each year will be the date terms will end and new appointments will be made.
(3) Those whose terms are just expiring or have served on the Board in the past are eligible to be reappointed by the County Judge/Executive with the approval of the Fiscal Court.
(E) (1) The Hiseville Cemetery Board or its designee will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Hiseville Cemetery.
(2) The Hiseville Cemetery Board will oversee the maintenance and preservation of said cemetery and adopt rules and regulations for the Hiseville Cemetery.
(F) This section shall be in full force and effect from and after its approval, adoption, and publication.
