SCHEDULE II. SPEED LIMITS.
   (A)   Speed limits on densely populated county roads.
      (1)   All county roads located in the county, which have a population density of 30 houses or more within one mile, shall have a maximum speed limit of 35 mph.
      (2)   The fines for speeding in violation of this division (A) shall be the same as are set forth in KRS 189.394.
      (3)   Speed limit signs shall be posted under the direction of the County Road Supervisor after its inspection following a request by an affected resident.
      (4)   This division (A) shall become effective 30 days after the second reading.
   (B)   Speed limits generally.

      (2)   The fines for speeding in violation of the roads listed in division (B)(1) above shall be the same as set forth in KRS 189.394.
      (3)   Speed limit signs shall be posed under the direction of the County Road Supervisor for all roads listed in division (B)(1) above.
      (4)   (a)    The present speed limit of 50 mph established by KRS 189.390 and applicable on Barren County Road No. 1097A, New Munfordville Road, is greater than necessary for the safe operation of vehicles. Therefore, the County Fiscal Court hereby declares that it shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vehicle at a speed in excess of 30 mph on Barren County Road No. 1097A from U.S. 31 E. to Barren County Road No. 1069, Old Munfordville Road.
         (b)   In every charge for a violation of the speed limit specified in division (B)(4)(a) above, the warrant or citation shall specify the speed at which the defendant is alleged to have driven and the lawful speed limit applicable at the location where the violation is charged to have occurred.
         (c)   The provisions of KRS 189.940 exempting emergency vehicles from speed limitations shall be applicable to the provisions of division (B)(4)(a) above.
         (d)   The County Road Engineer is hereby directed to install a sufficient number of speed and caution signs, to be paid for by the Fiscal Court out of the county levy, on Barren County Road No. 1097A pursuant to the provisions of division (B)(4)(a) above.
         (e)   The Clerk of the Fiscal Court is hereby directed to place notice of the provisions of this division (B)(4) in a local newspaper of general circulation.
         (f)   This division (B)(4) shall become effective upon the installation of the road signs by the county and the County Road Engineer prescribed by division (B)(4)(d) above.
      (5)   (a)   The present speed limit of 50 mph established by KRS 189.390 and applicable on Barren County Road No. 1087, the Tick Ridge Road, is greater than necessary for the safe operation of vehicles. Therefore, the County Fiscal Court hereby declares that it shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vehicle at a speed in the excess of 30 mph on Barren County Road No. 1087, the Tick Ridge Road, from U. S. 31 E. to Barren County, Road No. 1088, the Hutcherson Road, a distance of approximately one mile.
         (b)   In every charge for a violation of the speed limit specified in division (B)(5)(a) above, the warrant or citation shall specify the speed at which the defendant is alleged to have driven and the lawful speed limit applicable at the location where the violation is charged to have occurred.
         (c)   The provisions of KRS 189.940 exempting emergency vehicles from speed limitations shall be applicable to the provisions of division (B)(5)(a) above.
         (d)   The County Road Engineer is hereby directed to install a sufficient number of speed and caution signs, to be paid for by the Fiscal Court out of the county levy, on Barren County Road No. 1087, the Tick Ridge Road, pursuant to the provisions of division (B)(5)(a) above.
         (e)   The Clerk of the Fiscal Court is hereby directed to place notice of this division (B)(5) in a local newspaper of general circulation.
         (f)   This division (B)(5) shall become effective upon the installation of the road signs by the County Road Engineer prescribed by division (B)(5)(d) above and publication as prescribed in division (B)(5)(e) above.
   (C)   Penalty.
      (1)   Any person violating any provision of this schedule, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99.
      (2)   Any person who violates the provisions of division (B)(4)(a) above shall be fined not less than $10 nor more than $100 for each offense.
      (3)   Any person who violates the provisions of division (B)(5)(a) above shall be fined not less than $10 nor more than $100 for each offense.
