§ 51.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   COUNTY. The County of Barren including but not limited to the unincorporated areas of Barren County.
   DWELLING UNIT. Any room or group of rooms located within a structure and forming a single habitable unit with facilities which are used, or intended to be used, for living, sleeping, cooking, and eating. Said structures may be single-family structures, including mobile homes, or multi-family structures.
   OCCUPANT. Any person who, alone, jointly, or severally with others, shall be in actual possession of any dwelling unit or of any improved real property, either as owner or tenant.
   OPEN DUMP. Any facility or site used for the disposal of solid waste which has not been awarded a permit to function as a site for the disposal of solid waste.
   PROPERTY UNDER CULTIVATION OR OTHERWISE USED FOR AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES. Property or portion thereof used for the cultivation of corn, wheat, tobacco, soybeans, or any other legal marketable crop, or being used as pasture land.
   SOLID WASTE. Any garbage, refuse, sludge, or otherwise discarded material including, but not limited to, the following.
      (1)   CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION DEBRIS. Including any material related to the construction, remodeling, or demolition of property but not including hazardous materials.
      (2)   MISCELLANEOUS SOLID WASTE. Including, but not limited to, solid waste such as junk automobiles and automobile parts, tires, and boats that cannot be collected through typical solid waste collection procedures.
      (3)   OVERSIZED SOLID WASTE. Including, but not limited to, items of household solid waste such as refrigerators and appliances, washers and dryers, mattresses, furniture, and air conditioning units that cannot be collected through typical solid waste collection procedures.
      (4)   RESIDENTIAL YARD WASTE. Including, but not limited to, leaves, brush, grass clippings, shrub and tree prunings, and other vegetative matter resulting from residential landscape maintenance which has been diverted or separated from the residential solid waste stream.
   SUBDIVISION. Any area designated by plat, zoning ordinance, or deed, and consisting of single- or multi-family dwellings.
