§ 50.17 APPLICATION OF THIS SUBCHAPTER.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of collecting or transporting solid waste without a permit for the conduct of such business issued upon the approval and authority of the County Fiscal Court.
   (B)   Permits shall be issued for a period of one year, beginning each July 1, subject to continued conformance with the regulations governing the collection and transportation of solid waste in the county.
   (C)   All applications for a permit, or license, to engage in the business of waste collection and transport must be made on the official form which may be obtained at the office of the County Court Clerk. Failure to complete any portion of the application form, or the giving of false information in the application shall be grounds for denial of the requested permit.
   (D)   The application form appended to this subchapter, and embodied therein, shall be the official application form of the county. Exact reproduction by copies is permissible.
   (E)   A license fee of $10 per annum is imposed for each business.
   (F)   All license fees shall be payable to the County Clerk and be credited to the General Fund of the county to be used for county purposes only. The County Clerk is hereby allowed a commission of 5% of the license fee, collected and accounted for by him or her and a $1.50 fee for license issuance as the Clerk’s sole compensation for issuance of said licenses and keeping the records thereof.
