1-10-2: POSITION CLASSIFICATION PLAN:
The town shall develop and maintain a "position classification plan" covering all employees of the town. The position classification plan shall designate the job available at the town, and shall provide the various duties and obligations to be performed by the individual holding the job position. In the event that two (2) or more individuals hold the same job position, having the same duties and responsibilities, each such individual shall be treated equitably with regard to employment practices and compensation. No employee shall be employed or appointed by the town for any position to which there is not a complete and accurate description of the job provided by the position classification plan. The mayor will be responsible for all matters related to the development and maintenance of the position classification plan. (Ord. 89-01, 4-18-1989; amd. 1999 Code)
