(A) No person shall use any street or sidewalk area, including the lateral strip area between the street and sidewalk, for the display of merchandise or for any advertising display without the written permission of the Mayor.
(B) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
