(A) There is hereby established the position of Deputy Fire Chief in the Division of Fire.
(B) The position of Deputy Fire Chief shall be filled in accordance with Ohio R.C. 124.45 and the rules and regulations of the Barberton Civil Service Commission.
(C) The Chief of Fire shall direct the Deputy Chief to assist the Chief of Fire in the administrative operations of the Division. The Deputy Chief, or his or her designated officer, shall carry out the duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the Chief of Fire.
