(A) No person shall swim in any lake, stream, canal or other outdoor body of water within the city limits at any time unless a certain area within the body of water has been designated by the proper city authorities as a public swimming area and unless such area is properly guarded with regularly assigned and qualified municipal lifeguards.
(B) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
