§ 642.25 REMOVAL OF SHOPPING CARTS.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      CART. Includes any type of cart provided by a merchant for the transporting of goods, wares or groceries from his or her place of business.
      PREMISES. Includes the parking area adjoining a place of business, but is limited to the geographical boundaries of any business complex.
   (B)   No person shall remove a cart from the premises of the owner or without his or her consent.
   (C)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
