(A) There shall be a City Electrician within the Department of Public Safety whose duties shall be to erect, install and maintain all lines and electrical equipment for the city, including those used by the Fire Division and the Police Division, as well as to erect and maintain street intersection lights. The Electrician shall have charge of all tools and equipment owned by the city and used for the purpose of maintaining, constructing and erecting electrical equipment.
(B) There shall also be an Assistant City Electrician.
