(A) The coins deposited in parking meters are required and shall be used for the purposes of purchasing and defraying the expenses of the operation and maintenance of the parking meters and the proper regulations of traffic on public streets, providing street markings, traffic signs and the control devices and maintaining the same and for similar purposes.
(B) The money shall be paid into a special fund known as the “Traffic Fund”.
