§ 353.07 ISSUANCE OF VIOLATION TAGS.
   It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police or other officers in charge, acting in accordance with instructions issued by the Director of Public Safety, to report the following:
   (A)   The number of each parking meter which indicates that the vehicle occupying the parking space adjacent to such parking meter is or has been parked in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter;
   (B)   The state license number of such vehicle;
   (C)   The approximate length of time during which such vehicle is parked in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter; and
   (D)   Any other facts, a knowledge of which is necessary to a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending such violation. Each such police officer shall also attach to the vehicle a notice to the owner or operator thereof that such vehicle has been parked in violation of a provision of this chapter and instructing such owner or operator to report to the Police Division in regard to such violation.
