The Director of Public Safety is hereby directed and authorized to cause to be marked off individual parking spaces in the parking meter zones, such parking spaces to be designated by lines painted or durably marked on the curbing or surface of the street. At such space so marked off, no person shall park any vehicle in such a way that such vehicle is not entirely within the limits of the space so designated.
