(A) The ICC International Property Maintenance Code, the city’s Development Code, the Ohio Residential Code and the Ohio Building Code, and any amendments thereto, are hereby adopted as part of the requirements of this chapter for the purpose of providing guidance and standards in the application and enforcement of this chapter and in determining whether the conditions of the premises are maintained in an approved manner.
(B) Where differences occur between the provisions in this chapter and the provisions that this section adopts, the provisions that impose the higher standards shall control.
