§ 1476.06 NOTICE OF VIOLATION.
   (A)   Whenever the Building Commissioner or such other authorized official determines that there exists a violation of any provision of this code, he or she shall give notice of such violation to the person or persons responsible therefor and order compliance.
   (B)   Such notice and order shall:
      (1)   Be in writing;
      (2)   Specify in detail the violation or violations, together with the respective sections of the code violated;
      (3)   Set a reasonable time, not to exceed ninety days in any event, for the performance of any act it requires;
      (4)   Contain an outline of remedial action which, if taken, will effect compliance with the provisions of this code;
      (5)   Advise the owner or occupant of the procedure of appeal; and
      (6)   Be served upon the owner or occupant by delivering it to him or her personally or by leaving the same at his or her residence, office or place of business with some person of suitable age and discretion who shall be informed of the contents thereof, or by mailing a copy thereof by certified mail to his or her last known address, or if the person to be served is unknown, by posting such notice in some conspicuous place on the building or premises.
